Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) is a protocol enabling encrypted communication between a client (e.g. a wallet, a website) and a Lightning node, through Nostr relays. The handling of NWC connection is generally abstracted away from the Lightning node itself, through a gateway that communicates with the Lightning node through RPC or REST calls.
